This is specifically a bug in 1.2.1. It is supposed to be one of the
things fixed in 1.2.2 which is why Stefan was reporting that he still saw
the problem. Perhaps he did something wrong in his build, but testing
with the 1.2.2 client is what needs to be done.
Since you all have signed the tarball, presumably you had a built 1.2.2
client handy to test with. I should have just done so myself, but I got
stuck doing something else and was waiting for the tag to be added to I
could just pull from the repository, since that is how my current build
environment was setup.
To test, just use the 1.2.2 client against tigris.org to lock a file. Make
sure credentials are not already cached.
