Isn't this what the XML output is for, rather than the plain text output?

How about replacing "N lines" with just "N", or "N lines follow" or "N log lines"?

I got confused by "N lines" thinking it was about the number of lines changed in the code, too,
so I think this should actually be changed there. "N lines follow" would even keep
existing parsers working.
