Just like you, I can't figure out the version of the
particular svn server I used (I tried to look at the
repos via the web browser, but they use xslt
conversion that hides the version info.)

Only thing I know is that it is running Linux and svn
1.x.y where x < 2.

The client is 1.2.1 r15230, on linux.
