I don't think the FAQ Manager Position is exactly what SoC is about.

You'd need to read most messages, at least glance at each one, in
order to do it. Being a FAQ manager means understanding all the
problems people are having, finding the common themes, and writing new
FAQ entries about them (or updating existing FAQ entries).
There's no need to apply for the job, though, you can just start doing
it! :-) Create patches against www/faq.html and post them here, as
http://subversion.tigris.org/mailing-list-guidelines.html#patches
describes. We'll review them and commit them when ready. Eventually,
when they're always right the first time, we'll dispense with the
pre-commit review and just ask you to commit directly.
