OK, that makes sense, sorry for the confusion. We seem to be changing
our release procedure, but apparently not everyone agrees on what it is
at the moment. Justin decided to tag & test, rather than test & tag
yesterday. I guess it's growing pains; it's not yet documented, nor
was any email sent to the list saying that this was going to change.

(I did send an email saying that the 1.2-rc1 tarball wouldn't be
shipped until we had 3 sigs, but then apparently Ben and Justin changed
their minds, and asked for sigs on the 1.1.4 tarball instead? Even I
am confused now.)

No worries. I just assumed that all downstream folks built upon the
tarball, not the tag. I'm sure there's nothing to worry about here.
