Actually, I spoke too soon.
"HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell
Folders" contains a key called "Common AppData". On my system, that
points to "%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data". No nifty environment
variable for it though.
