Funny, I've not been doing that for almost 5 years now. My rule of
thumb has always been "a path just long enough to be unambiguous".
(For example, there are bunches of copy.c files.) I've always included
the library name, but never put a 'subversion/' prefix on every changed
path, it's always seemed too much visual clutter to me.

HACKING doesn't seem to talk about it either. Odd.

I can certainly change my habits to go with the majority. But I doubt
it's worth searching back through the last 12000 revisions to change my
old log messages. HACKING should probably be changed too if we want to
make this official (rather than unofficial) policy.
