I suggest stopping the discussion about the merits of case-sensitive
vs. case-insensitive filesystems (yes, I am aware you didn't exactly
start this).

Fact is, for the time being we have to live with both and energy is
best spent on concentrating what to do about it (i.e. how to let
Subversion handle it).
