That makes perfect sense, thanks.

Also, my initial diagnosis was wrong, this all works correctly on the
branch, The problem was that I had to add the Java include folders to the
VS .NET include list and the Java bin folder to the executables list. The
latter happens automatically if you installed Java and added it to your
PATH before you installed VS .NET.
