There is no requirement that a change have only one author. This goes
for code, translations, and everything else.

The fact that Subversion, like most version control systems, only
*supports* commits by one person is a technical limitation, not a
policy decision. Naturally, we also grant commit access on a
per-person basis, but a committer can certainly include collaborative
work in a commit -- it happens all the time. The committer is taking
responsibility; who actually did the work is not our concern.

Thus, not being able to tell whether the translator is Daniel Rall or
Laila Cory Rall is not grounds for complaint. Criticisms of the
translation itself (which I'm not competent to judge) are perfectly
valid, of course.

Taking a controversial stand in favor of collaboration,
-Karl
