Filesharing conflict with SVN on Win2003?

Last week I installed Subversion on our Windows 2003 server. In the time
since I've installed it, the filesharing has slowed down on 3 occasions to
where the server had to be restarted (Outlook would take about 3 minutes to
switch between emails on an outlook mailbox file on the server, and
Quickbooks would take about 12 minutes to load the company file). The last
time, I disabled the Subversion service and the server came back to life. I
am running version 1.1.1 of Subversion.

Has anyone else heard of this problem?
