Oh, good, because I got:

> rpm -q openssl
   openssl-0.9.7d-15
> configure --with-ssl --with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs2 --enable-maintainer-mode
--disable-mod-activation
   configure: error: could not find library containing RSA_new

But plain HTTP is working fine for me for read-only access.
