Reference to the wrong version in [BOOK] for 1.1

Hi everybody,
 
Subversion 1.1 book --> Switching a Working Copy(p.59)
 
Just before the "Switches and Updates" grey box there is that sentence:
"Subversion repositories aren't yet able to communicate with one
another; that's a feature planned beyond Subversion 1.0."
 
Does it really means beyond 1.1 or more like after 1.x (meaning 2.0) ?
 
The book for 1.1 seems to contains a lot of references to version 1.0.
Is it possible to check for all those references and make the changes
accordingly ?
