svn export and line endings

Using svn 1.1 RC3, also happens with TSVN built on 1.1.0 final.

If I run the following command from a Windows system, all of the files
have Windows line endings. Is that the expected behavior? I couldn't
find any mention of this in the book.

svn export http://svn.collab.net/repos/svn/tags/1.1.0/subversion somedir

I thought that the line endings were only converted if the svn:eol-style
native property was set.
