i get the following error now with 1.1 branch, and trunk, on solaris:

...
buildcheck: autoconf version 2.57 (ok)
buildcheck: autoheader not found.
            You need autoheader version 2.50 or newer installed.

even if autoheader is installed and in the path. i always thought it
is coming with autoconf?
