Hi Erik,

I think I'm missing something here, but why aren't the sums of
translated, fuzzy and untranslated messages equal for all the PO
files?

I run 'make locale-gnu-po-update' for r10751 (trunk) and the
following results differ from your report:

  $ cd subversion/po
  $ msgfmt --statistics es.po
  789 translated messages, 38 fuzzy translations, 96 untranslated
  messages.
  $ msgfmt --statistics sv.po
  864 translated messages, 30 fuzzy translations, 29 untranslated
  messages.

In the report, we have:

Status for 'es.po': in repository

  Passes GNU msgfmt --check-format

  Statistics:
       827 translated
        96 untranslated
        38 fuzzy
         0 obsolete

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Status for 'sv.po': in repository

  Passes GNU msgfmt --check-format

  Statistics:
       894 translated
        29 untranslated
        30 fuzzy
         0 obsolete

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok, they're not the same revision, but anyway they are not too far
and I understand that the sums should be consistent anyway, and they
are consistent in my test. I didn't run the test for 'it.po', but the
sum is not 923 too.
