Part of SUSv3 apparently, but not available on non-Unix platforms like

Perhaps before flaming the design of the software, you could do a bit of
research into the project philosophy. Being rude to people, even if you
do it out of what you think is a helpful impulse, helps no one and makes
you look like a pompous fool.
