mailinglist for german (book) translation?

is it ok to post german mailings to dev@subversion.tigris.org?

2)
or do you think a separate german mailinglist would be helpfull?
Martin Tomes offered to host such a list in june - is
this list created, or i am the only one who would need help
from time to time?
do you feel a extra-mailing list is overkill?

whats the comment of the other german translators?
