ACL Via AuthzSVNAccessFile and Web Services

Hello,
The current AuthzSVNAccessFile support doesn't really get it done for
me.
So I was thinking about moding the mod_authz_svn module to use a new
config directive of AuthzSVNAccessWS.
It would be a pointer to a Web Service that provides a defined interface
for ACL processing.
Then I could code a WS that used this interface and whatever persistence
mechanism I want for the actual ACL data.

Does anyone have an opinion on this?
