Well, I'm just saying the first two or three weeks of that stabilization
could be on the trunk. We'd have to slow down a bit for those few weeks
(no new features during that time, and make sure the more tricky
bugfixes are carefully reviewed), but it would save the work of
reviewing and pulling up each tiny change.

But, no strong preference either way, as long as we have at least a week
of branch time.
