Hi,

Well, the existence of the CVS directories was/is "very strange" for
(new) CVS users. If they accidently moved or renamed a directory (and
with that moved subsequent CVS directories), they screwed up their
working copy. I'm surprised to see, that this culprit of CVS was not
solved with subversion.

Writing a 100%-Java-client (maybe) _would_ give the possibility to solve
this issue as well. OK, I could not use command line svn any more on
this working copy, but I believe, this would not be a real problem,
because one easily could go back to the .svn directories by checking out
the project again using command line svn.
