I hadn't really thought about UI. Of course I realize that portability is
an issue (look at the pseudo links in the cygwin product which, while
understandable, are not correct from either a file system or an o/s
perspective.
On the UI, I'm thinking that you use exactly the same commands (svn add,
etc.) on the link that you would use on any other files. Internally, of
course, it must be treated differently, and care must be taken to avoid
confusing the link with the file.
So, the problem is not trivial, but I don't think it would require any
significant modification to the UI.
