Absolutely, that goes without saying. I want to do it efficiently and I
want the feature to be congruent with the architecture so it will be a
useful step forward for subversion as a whole.
I'll start investigating how links could be handled. I do have the
advantage of a bad example (that is, I have access to a clearcase system
that handles links, supposedly, sort of).
There are also probably old threads on the subject that may
