svn-x.x.x-setup.exe _and_ svn-x.x.x-dev-setup.exe

Hi,

I want to make an additional Windows installer (a developer/admin
version) in the folder:

  http://subversion.tigris.org/servlets/ProjectDocumentList?folderID=91

This new (planned) version named svn-x.x.x-dev-setup.exe which is status
marked as draft is different from the standard one in several ways:

  * It's from trunk. However, the binaries will be the same as in
    the current svn-x.x.x-setup.exe files.
  * Additionally, it contains Language bindings (and possible other
    developer related stuff).
  * Goodies from the repo's tools directory.
  * Installs Apache server modules and edits httpd.conf.
  * Do she same for svnserve as it does for the apache modules.
  * Probably much more

  Notes:
  * The trunk version do already have some of the functions above
    (apache handling)
  * Some functions and additional programs, such as stuff from the repos
tools directory will be included in the standard distro when a pre
1.0.x-branch is created and in use.

I want to use the trunk version (svn-x.x.x-dev-setup.exe) because then
it will be well tested by people that's used to work on computers while
the stable installer (svn-x.x.x-setup.exe) will continue as now.
I want new functions (such as dealing with the apache server) to be
well tested before included i the stable installer.
The trunk (dev) version of the installer will be quite stable anyway, so
I think it may be very usable for many people.

Objections, thougs?

Jostein
