thanks for the observer state,
i added my previous ideas with a few typos fixed
to the existing issue. plus one more idea:

i hope thats ok.

just to repeat the purpose of my initial request:
    - svn ls -- speed and memory usage issue

the first two feature ideas are meant for a similar
purpose: network-speed
    - --depth <n>
    - --dirs (or --directories-only)
