Yeah, I think it's a good idea. Sander Roobol, the previous patch
manager, did it all the time, so people are accustomed to it. I
wouldn't worry too much about cluttering the list. These sorts of
message are small, discrete pieces of information whose implications
are easily understood, so in terms of "mental clutter" they're not a
problem, if you know what I mean.
