I don't think I understand your question. In all three cases, the quantity
between the parentheses after the "$Log: " is calculated by the client when
expanding the file. It is used so that the client can then un-expand the
keyword prior to commit or diff. I suppose that means actually that the $Log$
entry itself has to _not_ be editted by the user...
