These two paragraphs seem to be at odds with each other, which is why I was
confused earlier... the solution you propose does not solve the problem you
mention. In fact, the proposed "solution" would actually delete any files you
forgot to add to revision control, which would make it difficult to check them
in for others to use. :-)
