Thanks a lot for clearing this up for me, I now see the problem... and thnx to
Karl, John and Branko I also see the SubVersion way of thinking to solve that
problem :-)

I've never used tags in CVS for anything else but marking just the current
state, which really is nothing else then the current revision in SubVersion,
so I failed to see that sometimes you'd like to mark some older versions of a
file to be in a tag. But as svn cp can fix that problem it comes down to "no
need for SubVersion to fix anything as there's nothing broken, you just have
to change the way of thinking", am I right ?
