Seems like we all want to release 1.0.1 pretty soon, so I've taken the
liberty of nomiating Tuesday, March 9th as the 1.0.1 release date in
www/project_status.html and in the STATUS file. Hope this is good for
everyone (?).
It would be especially nice to make sure the bindings are OK in 1.0.1.
Ben Reser's been very active in nominating bindings changes in STATUS,
and we should all review & vote on those as early as possible, so Ben
has adequate time to test. I think we in the Chicago office (Ben C-S,
Mike P, Fitz, myself) can probably review everything currently in
STATUS by EOD Tuesday, March 2nd if not sooner, and will try to do so.
Ben (Reser), or anyone: if there's any way in which the current 1.0.x
process is needlessly getting in the way of bindings fixes going in,
please say something. The voting requirements are already pretty
streamlined, but I don't know if anything else about the process is
still an obstacle...
