Yes, I had something like this in mind.
Not to categorize developers
(also non-C-developers provide essential contributions),
but because I'm a C++ developer, primary working on windows,
and never got a real friend of emacs etc.,
and was interested if there are other tools I am not aware of.
But indeed, this question is not tied to developing in C/C++...
Now since I know that you guys use emacs / vim / bash
for development, I'm even more impressed about the result...! ;-)
