Yes, I have tried that actually. Well, I did it with
svnserve -d process...such that:
# /usr/local/bin/svnserve -d
# svn co svn://localhost/svn/repos1
...
This works fine. It does not hang where it does with
a typical network client.
I can try with http, but I think the results should be
similar -- unless you think otherwise...please let me
know.
