Sorry, I tried to be clear about this. We can have (and probably do
have) working Perl wrappers for svn_client_diff, but not for libsvn_diff
right now.

I'm told that clkao probably wants working wrappers for libsvn_diff,
though, so my argument kind of falls down there.

This is a workaround for the user who builds everything from source, but
it's not a workaround for binary packagers like Red Hat. Shipping an
APR which matches perl would be compounding Perl's mistake tenfold.

So, really, no, there is no workaround.
