I'm not a committer, so my vote (under the current rules) won't count. Be that
as it may, I plan on going over the Perl bindings with a fine toothed comb, if
only because I want to understand how to use them (I have a couple of things
already spec'd out that need them).

Perhaps the rules need to be altered so that the bindings need to be reviewed by
at least one full committer, plus at least two additional "interested"
individuals. That way, an experienced eye can be sure that project style
guidelines are met (etc), but the other core committers who are not as familiar
with that particular binding don't have to make a possibly less-informed call.
