Not to be picky, but wasn't there briefly a 4.2.0.XX tarball at
sleepcat.com that did not have this feature? I thought it was added
starting in 4.2.50.XX.

I don't know how many people actually installed the earlier 4.2
tarball (I know I did). Its not available anymore but it might be
something worth mentioning for those who grabbed it.
