Configure script options.

Hello gang,

How hard would it be to make the --with-expat option of the configure
script take a directory argument. I am trying to compile the client on one
of my machines (without Apache) and my Expat is not in a standard
location. I can work around it, but it seems silly if I know where expat
is and configure can't find it, I should be able to tell it where things
reside.
