Generating and installing the PDBs for release is a good thing to do
to allow for support in the field. Then Dr. Watson will create symbolic
stack traces. The down side might be the size of the PDBs.

Commercial products might not do this to prevent reverse engineering.
But that is not a issue for subversion.
