svn help says --revision X:Y supported but not true?

All these commands are documented in svn help as having
--revision X:Y support.

blame, cat, checkout, copy, diff, export, list, log, merge, move,
propdel, propedit, propget, proplist, propset, switch, update

However only diff, log and merge seem to actually use the :Y revision.
I think this is a doc error as the svn book does not talk about the
range on the other commands. This would also explain not being able
to find the code that implements the ranges :-)
