RE: Adding LAN support to Subversion - Clarification

I know lock sounds strange but it does indicate what the protocol does. But
inherently it *is* still a file protocol.

You decide. I just see this as a possible means to use svn across my nfs
automounts and my smb mounts. lol.

I'm sure you and your crew can come up w/ a name that means 'file locking
protocol that is multiuser network fileserver safe' schema. :)
