I'm OK with this patch, but I seem to remember someone (sussman?) voting
against having a pd alias for propdel since it's a destructive
operation.

I for one think that we should go ahead and add the alias. If no one
objects, I plan on committing it later tomorrow to give a chance for
dissenters to be heard.
