svn up after svn mv, access is denied error, w2k client

after moving a directory in wc A, we get sometimes errors on w2k when doing "svn up" in another
working copy for a while now:

svn: Problem running log
svn: in directory 'tch'
svn: start_handler: error processing command 'delete-entry' in 'tch'
svn: Access is denied.
svn: svn_io_remove_dir: removing `tch/uid-mk/.svn'

server: 0.26, linux
client: 0.27, 0.30, windows 2000
protocol: https

a rm -rf in cygwin works on that directory.

when i try to reproduce it with a little repository, the error does not show up. with linux/unix
clients we did not experience that error at all. what can be the cause?
