I think there might be a disconnect here. I think Mike's thinking
"the tool generates these files from some other files that are
already versioned." But I think Brandon is saying "the tool
generates these files from the user operations within the
tools--these generated binary files *are* the earliest forms stored
on disk of the user inputs."
