The crash was just a bug in error handling that is now fixed (or will be
as soon as it's committed). The initial problem that triggered the bug
is probably the 'Access denied' error on Windows. So you will get a
decent error message rather than a crash from now on. Have you had any
re-occurrances with AV turned off, out of curiosity?
