Good point. However, it is trivially re-creatable with Anti-virus
software going...In fact, I cannot even perform a checkout of Subversion
(on three different machines) if Sophos is running with default
settings. My repro program fails nearly instantly using only native
Win32 APIs.
By tweaking settings I can, of course, fix that...but some folks may not
have that option.
I haven't tried it with other AV software, though, so maybe it's just
Sophos? They never responded to my bug report except to ask what
settings I was using.
The other thing that really bothers me is the 'Access denied' error
rather than a sharing violation or something...do these tag-alongs like
Sophos run at a special driver level or something to cause that error
rather than a normal one?
