Your question, specifically, was whether the patch manager depends on
it. I think he does -- either he looks for it, or he has programs
that look for it. So yes, it's important to include "[PATCH]".

Hmmm. I admit that people could have answered your actual question
better, instead of just repeating what HACKING already said.
Nevertheless, please don't assume that direct, unpadded statements are
meant to "belittle" you. They're most likely not -- sometimes people
are just terse because they have a lot of emails to answer.
