I am working on a newer version (with tests). However, I have discovered that
FreeBSD (at least) is much more cranky with group permissions, so I will
probably have to add additional checking to see that the group ownership happens
as I expected. If you wouldn't mind, please file an issue on this and I will
follow up as soon as I get a chance.
