Problems downloading tarball with curl

Dear developers

I am the package maintainer of subversion for fink (MacOS X). Today I
tried to upgrade to 0.30.0 but i ran into the following problem: Fink
downloads tarballs (by default) with curl. But curl doesn't seem to
cope with the latest changes on the website:

curl -f -L -O
http://subversion.tigris.org/files/documents/15/6494/subversion-
0.30.0.tar.gz
% Total % Received % Xferd Average Speed Time

So I asked today on #svn and "plasmabal" had the same problems trying
to do the fbsd port.

What is the best way to solve that? Is this a bug or a "feature"?

Thanks for any help,
Chris.
