Heh -- Jesper, my apologies. Ben Collins-Sussman just pointed out to
me that the more likely interpretation of your mail is that you meant
users cutting-and-pasting could be said reflect a lack of
self-discipline, and you weren't referring to the Subversion design at
all.

Sorry for jumping to conclusions. And for what it's worth, I don't
think it reflects a lack of self-discipline on their part at all.
It's just one of those unfortunate conflicts between the expectations
of humans and the expectations of software designers :-(.
