RE: RedHat, Apache, PHP, Subversion - don't mix together

David,

I'm running Apache 2.0.47/PHP 4.3.1 (w/Zend Optimizer 2.1.0)/Subversion
0.27.0 together on Redhat 7.3 without any problems. It's been quite a while
since I set it up, but I was able to install and upgrade everything without
a hassle. I know this doesn't help you much, but at least you know it's
possible :)

Subject: RedHat, Apache, PHP, Subversion - don't mix together

I (finally) tried compiling PHP to work with the new (2.0.47) version of
Apache and so far I've not been able to get it to compile.

This is bad news for people who would like (or need) to use PHP with
Apache and Subversion on RedHat boxes. (I finally have such a need)

Has anyone gotten this to work? It might be something simple but the PHP
SPEC file is 23K long and looks pretty complicated.

We'll eventually be able to get it working but it doesn't look easy.

:-(
