Well, I have personal experience with CVS working just fine over NFS
on Solaris systems for something like 7 years. Unfortunately,
personal experience now also includes Svn bombing out at the very
first attempt. :-/

Blaming the NFS implementation is fine in theory, but it doesn't
really help making Subversion a "compelling replacement for CVS"...
